Logline: William and Elizabeth Darmon are caught in a desperate contest with the rival Forth family to recover the deed to Mayfair Manor. The pair race to Egypt, Greece and Turkey attempting to save their home and prevent a devious plot from sabotaging the Greek revolution. 

Synopsis:  William Darmon and his wife Elizabeth were powerful figures in the countryside of County Kent - pillars of the community who set society's pace from their expansive grounds known as Mayfair Hall.  Now William's brother-in-law, Charles, a novice politician, has fallen victim to a scheme of the rival Forth family and has introduced a bill before Parliament known as the Writ of Confiscation that will cost the Darmon's their ancestral hom unless they can find their missing deed.  A late family friend has hidden the document on a trip to Egype decades earlier and left clues to its location only visible in the night sky of 1825.  As they begin to unravel the mystery, the body of a Forth family member turns up on the doorstep of Charles' manor.

William and Charles set off for the Mediterranean only to be waylaid by Greek rebels who are fighting for independence from the Ottoman Empire on the eve of a massive invasion by the Egyptian navy.  William's escape leaves him stranded in the Sahara far behind teh efforts of the Forth's to recover the property title.  FAcing the choice of rescuing Charles or returning home to prevent his family's eviction before the Writ becomes law, William gets more than he bargained for when he uncovers a Forth secret that may bring down the Kindgom of Greece as time draws near for the signing of the Treaty of London.
